Full Job Description

  • Commission and edit top quality product reviews (buyers guides and single products), using the best writers and experts, to ensure Telegraph editorial standards are fully met.
  • Ensure all reviews are rigorously tested by experts in the relevant field.
  • Maintain editorial independence, and ensure all decisions are taken by editorial.
  • Make sure relevant products are properly sourced, delivered, tested and returned.

    Exceptional digital publishing and editing skills
  • Demonstrable experience commissioning review content for a national title
  • In depth experience of writing detailed briefs that can be easily understood
  • Knowledge of SEO
  • A contacts book full of review experts across areas from tech to parenting
  • An understanding of the type of video content that should sit with each review

  • We have ambitions to invest and develop Telegraph Recommended into a major channel for the website over the next few years, and are looking for experienced commissioning editors to support the team in this aim. In this role you will commission and edit product reviews, taking ownership of one of our current core strands - Home & Garden, Tech and Beauty. (Please specify which strand you feel you are best suited to in a brief covering letter.)
