If so, we want you to hear from you. Our Education Commissioning team, within Children's Wellbeing & Partnerships, are seeking an enthusiastic and organised person to take on the role for a 12 month fixed term.

You'll join a friendly, hardworking and committed team with a passion to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.

You will focus on implementing, supporting and contracting managing the new Staffordshire Enhanced District Inclusion Support (SEDIS) Model across Staffordshire districts. The model will provide early support to schools to meet the needs of children and young people who experience barriers to learning and inclusion. It is an exciting opportunity to develop the role and take forward this area of work., You'll be:

  • developing the Staffordshire Enhanced District Inclusion Support (SEDIS) Model across the county

  • working with SEDIS providers and partners to mobilise the SEDIS model providing information, advice, guidance and support

  • performance managing providers with a focus on outcomes

  • leading the delivery of agreed aspects of the commissioning cycle

  • writing reports to support the decisions of relevant committees and boards

  • assisting in the monitoring of financial information and resource allocation

    You'll have:

  • a degree/HND or an equivalent professional qualification or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of commissioning

  • Knowledge of procurement and commissioning legislation, policy and processes

  • Experience of contracts and/or performance processes

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills at all levels, and with stakeholders.
