The Commissioning Review Programme Manager role offers an exciting opportunity.

This fixed term post will require the post holder to lead a programme of work with multiple priorities and related Boards and steering Groups to inform the review of current specialist rehabilitation services, as well as undertake scoping for new and innovative initiatives across Cheshire and Merseyside.

This will include ensuring effective engagement of professionals, constituent organisations and patients in programme activities that support the delivery of national and regional ambitions in line with local needs and resources., The role is to support a programme of work for NHS England & NHS Improvement - North West and Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board, hosted by The Walton Centre. The role will work at a senior level to support the effective delivery of the commissioning review. The role supports the region in driving pathway improvement and transformation and value for money in planning, commissioning and service delivery. The post holder will support and be accountable to commissioning bodies to ensure that the programme is planned and managed effectively and take the lead in successful development. As Programme Manager, you will provide and receive highly complex information and develop clear concise reports, have the ability to communicate and influence at all levels, have strong planning and coordination skills and be able to grasp critical issues and distil them into clear management priorities, weighing costs and benefits. You will be able to work with a high degree of autonomy, liaising
with the complex network of stakeholders involved with improvement, transformation, quality and commissioning. You will be a strong leader, with a strong value set, driven to improve specialist rehabilitation services.You will have a developed sense of personal resilience when working with stakeholders and proficiently navigate challenging discussions and support in mitigating risks and issue.You will need to travel as the role will work on sites with teams to scope and design improvements.
