It is an exciting opportunity to develop this new role and take forward this area of work. If you are able to use your initiative, experienced in working with data and systems, and most importantly want to help improve outcomes for children and young people, we want you to hear from you. This role is fixed term for 12 months. Main Responsibilities You'll will:

  • be responsible for systems, data entry and processing data effectively to provide commissioners with information to process charges for education.
  • undertake operational duties associated with the day-to-day running of our Alternative Provision Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
  • ensure robust and accurate record keeping for children being educated other than at school.
  • maintain information systems, including a range of databases..).
  • assist with the maintenance and monitoring of contracts and commissioning budgets, including raising invoices and payments
  • liaise with a range of staff to secure education for children who are out of school

    NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent) or previous administration experience, and use of databases
  • ICT skills including a working knowledge of excel, data collection and analysis techniques
  • organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
