Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised, self-motivated, and creative individual to join the Communications & Engagement Team at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust as Communications Assistant.,

  • Lead on administrative tasks on behalf of the Communications and Engagement team.

  • Support the Communications Team with the management of the Communications inbox - triaging enquiries and actioning requests when appropriate. To deal effectively with queries, some of them complex, ensuring a prompt, accurate and polite response, acting on own initiative and deciding appropriate action as necessary.

  • Supporting the team to monitor media coverage, social media, contacts databases and distribution lists.

  • Support with videography and photography.

    Working as part of the wider Communications and Engagement team, the Communications Assistant will be required to demonstrate a wide range of communications administration skills and be an exceptional team player.
