Full Job Description
With five Full-Time Student Officers, a team of permanent staff and the involvement of student volunteers, the Students' Union is at the heart of activity on campus tasked with improving and delivering the best Student Experience. The Students' Union delivers a range of services and support for its members, from independent academic advice to supporting our Programme Reps to enhance their course, to promoting the employability and development of students through our Communities Team. The Students' Union also runs a bar and two shops which sell a range of products, including ethically sourced University branding clothing, merchandise, and stationery.
Are you a dynamic and creative communications professional looking to make a significant impact? City St George's Students' Union is seeking a Communications and Brand Manager to lead our Communications and Brand Team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering all communications activities across the Union, developing a coherent narrative, managing our communication channels, and ensuring our visual and verbal identity is effectively represented.
As a member of the Operational Leadership Team, the Communications and Brand Manager will help steer the work of the wider Union and our strategic direction on behalf of the Board of Trustees.
We are looking for applicants who have a range of communications experience including designing, delivering & managing effective communications campaigns and activity across a range of media (including press, social, digital & traditional platforms) and the ability to establish strong working relationships with a wide range of individuals both within and outside the Students' Union, to include the University, students, staff, clients and agencies.
