Full Job Description

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a communications and marketing professional to join our dynamic and multi-skilled communications team at Nottinghamshire Police.

As a Communications and Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping to create and deliver targeted campaigns that help change behaviours and save lives.

Working with our Campaigns Manager and wider team, you will support the force's communication and engagement activities and the efforts of police officers to tackle crime and improve public safety.

You will be creating engaging and newsworthy content for the force's website, social media accounts and materials that make our campaigns stand out. With a flair for creative writing and using Adobe Creative Suite to produce eye-catching designs, you will be well-versed in producing excellent and innovative content.

We are looking for someone from a communications or marketing background who is self-motivated, passionate and keen to make a difference. You will be able to demonstrate working within various communication specialisms and delivering impact.

An understanding of analytics and evaluation techniques, campaign and content planning, and working with partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes would highlight your suitability for this role.

Nottinghamshire Police is a forward-thinking, ambitious police force with a focus on delivering a communications strategy that puts people, storytelling and content at the heart of everything we do.

Our intention is to connect with local residents, making sure we enable the force to engage with the people it serves, protecting them from crime through awareness-raising campaigns while offering reassurance and confidence, putting people at the heart of everything we do.
