If you're experienced in writing, creating stories of the great work our colleagues do across the Trust, working with the media and value the importance of positive working relationships with the media, to help us effectively engage with people in Norfolk and Suffolk then we want to hear from you. This role will provide additional capacity to help showcase our journey of improvement as a Trust, ensuring that people always know what we are doing across Norfolk and Suffolk., Communications

  • Develop good working relationships with all relevant areas of press and broadcasting media and external stakeholders. To respond to media enquiries and write proactive press releases, stakeholder briefings and other articles.
  • Assist in publicising the work of the Trust through development of
  • good news / promotional opportunities with press and other media, arranging interviews and photo opportunities.
  • Work closely with Care Groups to provide support, advice and help
  • for their individual communication activities.

The Trust has now introduced a DBS Update Service which is a contractual requirement. You need to subscribe when you have applied for your DBS clearance and there is a time limit to subscribe of 19 days after receipt of your DBS disclosure. Please ensure that this is completed within the set time scale. This update service is an annual subscription at a cost of £13 to you. This will enable the Trust to have instant online access to your DBS record, with your consent, and so will remove the need for you to have to apply for this repeat check again.
