The Communications Executive will lead on the creation, delivery, and evaluation of our key campaigns. You will work across the team with a focus on our internal audiences of 12,000 employees, who are vital to delivering improved services. You support everyone internally with clear, engaging and creative communications and informative messages, which help to change and improve our services., Our team is the bridge between the council's vision and the people of Birmingham. We strive to enhance the council's reputation, improve satisfaction with our services, and help our employees see how their work contributes to the city's vision. Our local knowledge means we can weave the threads of our city's story into a narrative that resonates with every citizen. The team sits at the heart of the council, and leads on internal and external campaigns, press and media, social media, events and more. About You As a Communications Executive, you will lead and support our key campaigns especially those aimed at our employees. You will collaborate with the Head of Internal Communications, using your creative thinking to meet deadlines and objectives. You'll bring your skills in digital comms and event management to a forward-looking communications team. We're seeking an ambitious, motivated communicator who can work independently and take direction from the wider team. A proactive can-do attitude and the ability to create content for campaigns is essential. You will build relationships across the council, understanding the context of where the council is and its challenges. Your role will support the future of the council and contribute to our narrative. This is an exciting chance to make a real impact on the future of the city.
