Full Job Description

Hours: 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight) Are you a team player, keen to kick start your career by supporting the Marketing and Communications Team as well as wider colleagues across Housing 21 to shout about all the great things we do? If so, the Communications Executive role could be for you! We're looking for someone who can bring their passion for great communications to help us achieve our goals. If you're a well organised and creative comms professional with a can-do attitude, you could be a perfect fit. You'll support the Resident Communications Manager to help deliver effective and timely communications that informs, involves and engages our residents. You'll also work closely with the wider Marketing and Communications Team to develop great content, support our campaigns and help us develop our employer brand internally and externally, including on social media and our website. You will be skilled at creating and posting content on digital channels including the intranet, website, X, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Building relationships with key internal stakeholders is crucial as you work with them to keep an ear to the ground of how we can support with shouting about all the great things we do. You'll be comfortable liaising with external agencies and suppliers as well as internal colleagues at all levels. Excellent communication skills are key, along with the ability to use your own initiative and problem-solving skills. We'd love to meet you!

The essential requirements for the role include:

  • Experience working in communications, marketing or PR
  • A good understanding of social media and digital communications
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft package
