All Departments Communications All Departments is a required field Advertising Salary Not SpecifiedAbout The Role We are looking to strengthen our Communications team with a Communications Manager based at Hattersley with hybrid working available. You will report directly to the Head of People and your role will cover all Communications within the MWHT business, you will also be responsible for external communications to promote the great work being undertaken around our business. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with key stakeholders throughout the business to maintain a communications plan, encompassing all key activities & awareness days through various departments.
  • Build and maintain a consistent stock of MWHT Branded Merchandise and engage with suppliers to source the most suitable items.
  • Create, Develop and distribute key business wide communications, such as messages from other departments, our Internal Vacancy List, messages from our Senior Leadership team & other key business messages to all employees.
  • Work to agreed graphic design visuals to produce a range of promotional materials, this requires the use of many software applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom, Canva and more.
  • Keep the MWHT social media channels up to date, share messages and updates with our followings and produce promotional material
  • Work closely with Framework Communications Leads to ensure we are showcasing great work from around our regions and having two way communications to distribute key messages from head office.
  • Take responsibility for planning and implementing the Communication Strategy
  • Work to source relevant information & keep a library up to date to ensure a quarterly business wide newsletter is produced and distributed on time
  • Work with the IT team to ensure the MWHT website is kept up to date with relevant information (training will be provided), to also assist the wider team with the development of our internal website
  • Ensure the wider team have relevant material for industry exhibitions, including but not limited to British Water Events, Client events, H&S events, and our Annual Roadshows.
  • Work with the recruitment team to help with our recruitment strategy, including Day in the life videos, articles and other promotional material
  • Maintain our awards register to ensure we are publicising our wins

    Essential
  • Excellent skills throughout all Microsoft Applications, with strong skills in Microsoft Powerpoint & Word.
  • Experience of using Adobe & Canva Software is desirable.
  • Organised and able to work on multiple activities.
  • Experience in producing case studies, press articles & business publications.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media and the ability to manage accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
