Group Communications and Brand designs and implements communications, brand and public affairs strategies that support HSBC's business objectives, enhance and protect the bank's reputation, and build preference and trust among stakeholders.

We are looking for a Communications Manager to join the GBM Communications team.

Reporting to the Head of Communications for Global Banking, the role-holder will be responsible for developing creative and compelling content for integrated internal and external communication campaigns.

In this role you will:

  • Support the development and implementation of communications plans and activities supporting GBM strategy and business priorities.

  • Support organisational change and business transformation through strategic communications support.

  • Support the planning and delivery of campaigns, including developing key messages, collateral and measurement.

  • Adopt innovative new communications tools, techniques and channels.

  • Contribute to development and management of global communications channels including digital workplace (intranet, mobile, internal social media) as well as leader and manager communications.

    Integrated internal and external campaign and senior business partnering competencies.

  • External operating environment knowledge and understanding including through lenses of clients and reputational risks.

  • Commercial acumen within the relevant product areas is highly desirable. Issues and crisis management.

  • Strong collaboration and team-work skills.

  • Ability to pro-actively engage and operate with leadership and colleagues across multiple geographies, cultures and time-zones.
