Full Job Description

We are recruiting for the role of Communications Officer, within our communications team. The role has a focus on digital communications covering work across the organisation.
We trust and empower colleagues to work in a hybrid way, providing the resources, equipment, and support, so that individually and collectively, we can be the voice of children and young people when the family court makes critical decisions about their futures.
Whilst this role is flexibly based, travelling is expected at least once a month to our London office (Gray's Inn Road). Our teams work flexibly and remotely, meaning your proximity to the office doesn’t always have to be a critical consideration.

As Communications Officer you will be expected to:
+ Produce multimedia content to be used on Cafcass’ digital channels
+ Lead the development of Cafcass’ social media channels
+ Lead content management of the Cafcass website and ensure effective SEO is in place
+ Create insight reports that evaluate the effectiveness of Cafcass’ digital channels.

Security
Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check.
People working with government assets must complete baseline personnel security standard (opens in new window) checks.

+ Experience of working in a digital communications role
+ A creative approach to digital content development with expertise in producing content using Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Photoshop and Premier Pro
+ Experience of content management systems
+ Experience of creating insight reports using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
