Full Job Description

The communications officer will be responsible on a day-to-day basis for supporting the delivery of corporate communications across the organisation. The post-holder will be involved in all aspects of our work including internal communications, digital communications, media relations and reputation management, publications, events and campaigns. Taking a proactive, organised, and innovative approach to your work, you will make a real impact to staff experience and engagement and help to transform the organisations external profile., We curently have two vacancies for this role which will be split between two departments as follows, The NHS Practitioner Health is a National (England wide) service for Doctors with mental health and addiction issues which may be affecting their ability to work safely and effectively, or return to work. The PH service aims to deliver positive outcomes in relation to;

  • improvement in mental health and social functioning
  • numbers returning to work/retraining
  • reduction in risk to patients and the public
  • reduction in regulatory involvement

    We are looking for a Communications Officer to join our central communications team and play an active role in transforming our staff engagement and both our internal and external communications activities. Motivated and ambitious, you will be seeking to further develop your career as a communications professional.

    The Primary Care Gambling Service (PCGS) is now an established service across London with the potential for expansion. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their knowledge in the field of gambling harm. The aim of the service is to provide a bridge between NHS primary and specialist care which allows GPs and other trained healthcare professionals to directly refer patients for support with problem gambling., The Hurley Group is an NHS organisation that runs a number of GP practices, walk in and urgent care centres across London. We have been providing patient-centred care since 1969, working within some of the UKs most deprived communities.
