Are you good at spinning plates? It's not something you see very often on TV these days, but figuratively, it is a very useful skill, one of which is vital if your goal is to keep nuclear power stations operating safely, contributing to the UK's Net Zero carbon target, or to help prepare them for decommissioning. The UK's five operating stations deliver 16% of the UK's power, and it takes a large team delivering 100's of projects to enable these stations to continue generating as well as defuel the three stations that have ceased operation - and that's a lot of plates. And this is where you come in If you're familiar with project delivery, you'll know that they have plenty of moving parts and complexity, which is why you'll be working alongside our Subject Matter Experts, Operations Managers and with our Framework Service team too. People are at the heart of everything we do Centre to the success of the role will be your people skills, building effective relationships and interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders in multiple locations. You'll also work closely with colleagues to support activities that offer the best service to the client. Through your interactions, you'll be able to gather useful intelligence on client needs and work with the team to deliver innovative solutions. You'll utilise your strong communication and engagement skills to achieve client, people and business outcomes, working with your team and peers that are based in different locations across the UK. As well as focusing on the support to this framework, you'll get involved in other aspects of our high-performing business. We are seeking a Communications Support professional to work alongside our Operations Manager. The role will see you working as part of a large client-led team at Gloucester Business Park. Flexible working arrangements between office and home may be possible based on project commitments and deliverables. Specifically, the role will involve content creation for emails, posters, presentation slide packs and film editing. There will also be the management of meetings, events organisation - comprising of bookings, content, updates and arranging follow up meetings where required. Key responsibilities will be:

  • Provide support in developing and implementing the internal communication strategy, consistently and in conjunction with the overall client communication strategy
  • Support external communication initiatives where appropriate
  • Work closely with all the members of the Senior and Extended Lead team to support communication strategies
  • Propose innovative and varied approaches, means and media to foster and promote engagement, shared valued and information sharing through communication
  • Makes best use of resources available to adopt a creative and engaging approach to communication
  • Support the client with the business wide initiatives, events, networks and staff engagement
  • Degree in Marketing/Communications
  • Creative and strategic thinker with an innovative mind and a can do attitude
  • Proficient in MS Office packages
  • Experience in Photoshop and Film Editing
  • Good stakeholder management skills
