Joining us will provide you with unparalleled access to training opportunities, continuous CPD, peer support groups, and a robust supervision and appraisal system., You will join 2wte Adult Consultant Psychiatrists and 1wte Core trainees within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

You will be expected to:
· Workaspartofmultidisciplinaryteamsprovidingcaretoadults with mental health needs, across southern Havering.
· Provideseniormedicalsupporttotheteam,anddirectinputonclinicalcases.
· Provideguidanceandsupervisiontotheteam.
· Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external mental health providers, and acutehospitals.
· Work alongside the 2wte Consultant Psychiatrists and 1wte Core Trainee within the service and share clinical supervision requirements with them.
· Developlinksalreadyestablishedwiththelocalacutetrusts'A&Edepartments and inpatient wards.
· Beresponsibleforpatientsallocatedtothemandwillassess,manage,plan,and deliver care.
· Supportyourpeersandtheteammanagerandbeaneffectiveteammember whilst working on their own initiative.
· Supervisejuniorcolleaguesandliaisewithotherhealthandsocialprofessionals and agencies.
· Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
· Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this.
· Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in adults
· At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) of which at least 2 years will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee or shall have equivalent experience and competencies
