Full Job Description
You will join 2.9wte CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist and 2.3wte Specialty Doctors within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

You will be expected to:
· Workaspartofmultidisciplinaryteamsprovidingcaretochildrenandyoungpeople with mental health needs, across Redbridge.
· Providemedicalsupporttotheteam,anddirectinputonclinicalcases.
· Work directly with children and young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers, and acutehospitals.
· Work alongside the three CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists and three Specialty Doctors within the service
· Developlinksalreadyestablishedwiththelocalacutetrusts'A&Edepartments and inpatient wards.
· Beresponsibleforpatientsallocatedtothemandwillassess,manage,plan,and deliver care.
· Supportyourpeersandtheteammanagerandbeaneffectiveteammember whilst working on their own initiative.
· Supervisejuniorcolleaguesandliaisewithotherhealthandsocialprofessionals and agencies.
· Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
· Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in children, including neurodevelopmental disorders
· At least 2 years of postgraduate experience

We are currently recruitingfor a Community CAMHS Core Trainee Doctor (CT 1 - 2) positionin theRedbridge Child Development Centre, Grovelands, Grove Road, Chadwell Heath, Essex, RM6 4XH. This is a fixed-term for 12 months, full-time, new post. This post is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit to it as soon as possible.
