Community Care Worker

This position is essential to the running of the fostering service. The role will coordinate events and training for the service, supporting our foster carers in developing their skills to enable them to meet the individual needs of our children.
This position completes our exit interviews which is essential in collecting data for us to improve our retention of foster carers. The role is our link to our external fostering support commissioning which enable us to support our carers and improve retention.
The role leads our foster carer council meetings which again serves to retain our foster carers. It supports our induction of our foster carers, completes and send out our bulletin again all to support retention and strengthen our foster caring workforce. It manages leisure passes to support the development of our children. we are also adding training coordination to the role.
