Full Job Description

You will join three full-time CAMHS Consultants, another Specialty Doctor, and a Core Trainee doctor within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

Full GMC Registration with a license to practice

Section 12 certification, or a commitment to work towards this.

Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in children, including neurodevelopmental disorders

At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time basis) of which at least 2 years will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee or shall have equivalent experience and competencies, To be innovative, motivated, and passionate about Child and Adolescent mental health care,

Essential understanding of current developments in mental health care,

We are currently recruiting for a Community CAMHS Specialty Doctor position in the Barking and Dagenham CAMHS Community Team, based at 73 Axe Street, Barking, IG11 7LZ. This is a new post, that has been created to provide high quality care. It is substantive and full-time. We wish to recruit to this post as soon as possible.
