Full Job Description

This post is for 37.5 hours per week, which will be worked flexibly over 7 days a week, and is for 1 year fixed term contract. This post offers a great opportunity for a children's qualified nurse to develop and enhance skills and experience in community nursing. The organisation is supportive of training needs and there is an excellent mandatory training and education programme. You will also receive regular clinical supervision and safeguarding supervision., The postholder will work within the Children's Community Nursing Team, visiting children in the community with a wide range of conditions, with the aim of reducing hospital admissions and attendances. The role will include nursing care, training, and supporting families, as well as deputising for Team leads, and supporting and mentoring student nurses.
The team provides a service to children and young people aged 0 - 18 years, and works across the 3 London Boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Westminster. The team works closely with colleagues in Primary Care, hospitals, social services and education.

You will need to be passionate about children's nursing, enjoy working as a team as well as being autonomous, and have at least 2 years' experience at band 5, including at least 1 year in a community setting., Interview arrangements will be communicated via email so please check your email regularly following the closing date.
