Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our amazing team in Hounslow as a Community Development Coordinator!, Deliver Dementia Friends sessions and raise community awareness of dementia.
- Work closely with local organisations to guide their dementia inclusive initiatives.
- Organise and attend health and community events in the borough.

You will be work independently, alongside our local services team, to engage and develop community relationships for the long-term benefit of people affected by dementia. We particularly welcome applications from people who are representative of the diverse communities we serve in the borough., An understanding or willingness to develop an understanding of dementia and the impact of dementia on both those diagnosed and those caring.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to engage successfully with a diverse range of businesses, community groups and residents.
- The organisational skills to plan and prioritise your workload.

There are currently estimated to be 900,000 people in the UK with dementia. Many are undiagnosed and facing the realities of their condition alone.
