Full Job Description

Right at Home Worthing and Shoreham provide premium quality homecare to adults with physical and learning disabilities and the elderly. We believe in the power of community engagement and effective marketing. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Community Development and Marketing Manager.,

  • Proactively seek and develop new business opportunities through a variety of methods including networking events and community based activities.
  • Support with enquiries and other lead generation strategies.
  • Develop community engagement, PR and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other team members and external stakeholders.
  • Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.)
  • Source, prepare and distribute press releases with support from Right at Home UK National Office.
  • Organise community/PR events.
  • Support the business in the planning and delivery of a wide range of engagement activities.
  • As part of the office team, you will participate in an on-call system to provide support during out of office hours.

    A minimum of two years experience of community development including event arrangement.
  • A minimum of two years experience in marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail.
  • Creativity and innovation, with the ability to generate and execute new ideas.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships.
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Due to the nature of the role and duties involved applicants must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and have access to own vehicle.

  • Competitive salary from £28,000 to £30,000 (FTE, negotiable depending on experience).
