Community Development Worker

As a Community Development Worker, you'll work with individuals, organisations and communities across Rochdale, empowering them to:

• identify their assets, needs, and strategic development opportunities


• plan what they want to achieve and take appropriate action


• develop joint working, strategic plans and funding opportunities to generate aspiration and confidence across grass roots services.
  
  experience of networking and partnership development


• excellent negotiation and communication skills


• understanding of grass-roots community work and the voluntary sector


• passion for co-creation and working with marginalised communities


• good knowledge of funding/income strategies and securing funding


• passion for project development
