Full Job Description

Community Early Years Practitioners (CEYP) work within a Health Visiting Team as part of a skill mix team, supporting the delivery of integrated, evidence-based services for children and their families, with a focus on prevention, promotion and early intervention., You will be required to work in partnership with families, delivering a variety of evidence-based interventions that promote an attuned and sensitive approach to parenting and support the social, emotional and developmental needs of children.

You will work largely autonomously (lone working is a feature of the role) with regular supervision. There will be times when you access additional support or provide additional support with colleagues.

You will be responsible for planning, delivering and recording your allocated work and liaising with Health Visitors and other colleagues.

This role requires a flexible, warm and reflective practitioner committed to ongoing development of their skills and knowledge in order to maintain the excellent standards of the service.

With your team you will work with communities and services within your locality, including early year settings and children's centres to build social capital and community networks.
