Community Engagement and VSCE Coordinator

Do you enjoy problem solving, working with local services and engaging with your local community to promote grassroots neighbourhood developments? We have an exciting opportunity for someone very special to be our community engagement and VCSE project coordinator. The role is integral to our future plans and you will be helping people that are most in need to get support to quit smoking, whilst promoting and working with local neighbourhood stakeholders.

• Be experienced in community engagement and partnership working in a community health environment.
• Experience of building and maintaining networks and partnerships.
• Positive and proactive with the ability to motivate, engage and support partnership delivery.
• Adept in communication; a confident, approachable communicator who adapts the message to fit the needs of the audience and can see the bigger picture in problem solving for community cohesion.
• Build strong relationships, foster trust and co-operation among colleagues, stakeholders, community leaders, and commissioners.
• Quality driven; you naturally seek high standards and actively seek to improve them.
• Value and remain open to new ideas and perspectives.
