Community Equipment Coordinator

The post holder will provide an essential service across the borough of Bolton to disabled and vulnerable service users with the aim of maintaining their independence and safety in their own homes.

Responsibilities include to coordinate the servicing and repair of electrical and medical equipment, maintaining computerised records and the use of handheld devices in the store's environment. Maintain infection control standards within the workplace and monitor hygiene standards of equipment.

You will select and plan daily tasks for Driver/Fitters and the day-to-day supervision of stores staff.
You will receipt deliveries and update records including returns, disposal and stock checks including internal audits.

Other duties will include supporting store staff when required, maintaining available stock, and using handheld devices for the movement and disposal of stock.

You will be required to work as part of a team and to assist other disciplines when necessary.

You may be asked to support each discipline when necessary and have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with good IT experience. The post holder must also have the ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
