Full Job Description

Are you someone who is passionate about how we care for the most vulnerable people in society? Our Community Service Centre at Hereford is currently looking for a new Service and Maintenance Technician to join our small friendly team. NRS Healthcare is the UK's leading provider of Community Equipment Services, we deliver complete end-to-end services through all stages of equipment provision and recycling, within the healthcare sector. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can help us in our mission to improve people's quality of life and independence every day. Our services allow people to remain in their homes, preventing the need for them to stay in hospital for any longer than is necessary, allowing the NHS to deliver frontline care where it is needed most. Our Service & Maintenance Technicians are a pivotal part of the success of the service we provide. From delivering equipment to providing installations, your role will be varied, providing the required services to ensure our service users receive the help they need at the time they need it most. As well as installing equipment, you'll also service existing equipment as well as collecting items no longer required. Our Service Centre is located just outside Hereford City centre and from there you will be routed around Herefordshire. You will, as part of this role, have the option to keep your vehicle outside of office hours, with daily visits to the Service Centre required for restocking purposes.

Experience working with and installing healthcare equipment would be advantageous, and with the requirements of the role, a Driving License is obviously required. Most importantly, you'll have the necessary care and compassion required to ensure our Service users receive a welcoming, friendly face in their hours of need.

We offer competitive salaries, full training and development for your role, as well as a wide range of benefits. Some of these include :

  • 33 days annual holiday inclusive of bank holidays (rising 1 day per year after 3 years to a maximum of 38 days)
  • Comprehensive sick pay scheme
  • Pension Scheme and Life Assurance
  • Exclusive employee discounts, savings and competitions
  • Bike to work scheme
