Full Job Description

Answer and direct event and general fundraising phone calls and queries, liaising with colleagues as necessary Proactively initiate phone calls to engage with supporters, schools, nurseries, local businesses, etc. Welcome supporters and accept donations ensuring the highest standard of supporter care Keep the database up-to-date, ensuring accurate record keeping and updating of event and supporter records Process online and card payment registrations accurately Collate and dispatch supporter event packs and event-related merchandise Process and manage collection pots efficiently Assist in the preparation of event materials, ensuring all necessary items are printed and ready Support pre and post-event equipment preparation, management of stock levels and placing orders as required Produce and share daily event registration reports Update reports and send out relevant supporter correspondence Provide cover/ assist the Supporter Care team in routine admin tasks as required Assist with the
thanking process for events, adding personalisation and tailoring copy where possible Work collaboratively with the wider team to promote upcoming events and campaigns Supervise fundraising volunteers in accordance with established policies and procedures Work under own initiative and follow instructions from others as needed Ensure compliance with Charity Law and GDPR, and adhere to the Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice Plan and prioritise own varied and demanding workloads and impose appropriate deadlines, applying effective time management skills to ensure these are met Ensure that the best possible supporter care is provided to all stakeholders and supporter enquiries/requests are dealt with promptly and professionally Undertake any other duties in line with the level and responsibilities of the post, as required by Head of Fundraising
