Full Job Description

To support the work of the Charity Office Team in the delivery of all fundraising activities, helping to deliver income against targets. To provide excellent administrative and practical support to fundraisers., Support the Charity Office team with developing and delivering community fundraising activities and building effective relationships with supporters.
To assist in the development and delivery of fundraising events, both charity and community led.
Acknowledge and recognise all donations and gifts in a timely and appropriate manner, keeping the database up to date and accurate., + Provide an excellent level of support and ideas to LHCH Charity Supporters responding appropriately to their needs
+ Attending meetings with supporters, cheque presentations and community events as required.
+ To attend events as needed, offering support to other team members.
+ To assist in the timely and effective marketing and promotion of events.
To help support fundraisers taking part in LHCH Challenge events, ensuring that they have a great experience and feel valued by the charity.
Comply with all relevant legislation and governing bodies including guidance issued by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and Fundraising Regulator
Work with the team to manage resources within budget and ensure value for money.

From April 2017 the Government plans to extend the requirement to provide a criminal record certificate to Tier 2 visa applicants coming to work in Education, Health and Social Care sectors and to their adult dependants.
If you are a Tier 2 visa applicant and you are coming to work in an occupation defined by the relevant Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code, you will be required to provide a criminal record certificate from any country you have lived in for 12 months or more in the last 10 years, this is also applicable for your adult dependants.
Employers are expected to implement the Care Certificate for all applicable new starters from April 2015. The Care Certificate aims to equip health and social care support workers with the knowledge and skills which they need to provide safe, compassionate care. We expect all new starters in clinical, patient facing posts (bands 1-4) to complete all 15 standards of the Care Certificate, within their first 6 months with the Trust.
