Full Job Description

If you're looking for a varied and flexible role which helps us to reach and support more people affected by dementia than ever before, look no further!

You'll volunteer with our Fundraising teams to raise awareness in your local community and assist our supporters to raise funds.

You'll help us to identify potential new supporters, to build brand awareness and to inspire people in your local area to know more about dementia.

By being one of our Ambassadors, you'll put your passion for making a difference into action by engaging with our supporters in a variety of ways such as attending events or cheques presentations and helping with bucket collections.

Are you passionate about making positive changes in your community? If you can spare a few hours, we welcome your support in Leicestershire.

We are looking for volunteers to join our Regional Fundraising team. Fundraising is vital for Alzheimer's Society to provide essential services, fund research, and advocate for changes that improve the lives of those affected by dementia.

As a Community Fundraising Ambassador, your role can be tailored to fit your interests and schedule. You might attend events, manage collections, participate in cheque presentations, or run information stands.

Many opportunities are available in your local area for you to choose from.

In this role, you will gain insights into dementia while contributing to the fundraising efforts that support individuals living with and affected by the condition.

You will have training and support from a Role Manager. You will be connected to a friendly and passionate team of Regional Fundraisers.
