    Band C SCP 5 - 8 (£23,500 - £24,702) pro rata (Actual salary £19,054 - £20,028), Our shift pattern is 7:00am-9:30am (12.5 hours) and / or 2:45pm-6:15pm (17.5 hours),so would be ideal for one person, or even two to share.


  • Our school is one of the oldest in Sandwell, a Victorian building in generous and beautiful grounds. We are all proud of our school environment and we have worked hard to create it and we have lots of plans to develop it even further, so we need someone special to work with us to make that happen.

    The role is for 52 weeks of the year (some holidays are set during periods where the school does not open in school holidays, the remaining holiday entitlement can be requested during school holiday periods.)

    The Governors wish to recruit a caretaker to improve and maintain our site facilities. The post will support our commitment to provide a safe environment in which to work and learn.

    The successful candidate will ideally, The school has a duty to safeguard our children and therefore expects all staff to adhere to our Safeguarding Policy and participate in annual safeguarding training. As part of the appointment procedure all staff have to undergo a DBS disclosure which will report cautions as well as convictions. Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE If you are shortlisted for the position, we will also conduct an online search.

    30 hours (or two part time x1 12.5 hours am and x1 17.5 hours pm)
