From 4 April 2024 overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals, etc) but sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. In addition, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for those occupations paid by NHS bands that are on the immigration salary, a list of skilled jobs which have lower salary requirements, will need to meet the national pay scale for their role or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200 (whichever is higher). We are looking for a caring, motivated and friendly individual to join our busy, professional and dynamic team. You should possess commitment to interdisciplinary team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of care.
The post holder will assist and support other members of the team in giving care / undertaking phlebotomy to patients within a designated area, under the supervision of a qualified nurse.
The opportunity to develop additional skills within the HCSW job description and support in career progression through accessing formal training and clinical competence., + Promotes a 'can do' attitude and determination to develop and sustain a dynamic and responsive clinical and administrative support service within a Community Team setting which delivers best practice.
+ To deal appropriately with interruptions, unpredictable events and behaviours.
+ To organise and deliver skilled clinical support work / phlebotomy without direct supervision.
+ Gain valid informed consent and work within legal frameworks with patients.
+ To liaise with nursing and therapists with regard to patient care, highlighting any variations to expected outcomes from agreed treatment programmes.
+ To provide basic verbal and written clinical reports to the supervising Nurse and / or therapist and to document patient interventions/findings in patient records in line with Trust Record Keeping Policy.
