Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Modern Matron for Stroud and Vale community Hospitals, as a job share with the current post Holder. We welcome experienced applicants to jointly lead the development of these services, by ensuring care is delivered to the highest standard. This is an opportunity to provide credible and visible clinical leadership, focusing on enhancing the quality of care and promotion of initiatives that support both patient experience and the health and wellbeing of staff.Main duties of the job Provide operational managerial and clinical leadership to Stroud and Vale Community Hospitals, working in partnership with the Community Managers of locality Integrated Community Teams,and other management and professional leads. Manage and lead the Community Hospital Management team promoting effective governance and ensuring that the highest standard of clinical care is delivered; and ensuring that all clinical and non-clinical performance indicators, targets and objectives are met in line with national and local standards. Ensure that quality, performance, Cost Improvement Plans (CIPs) and budgetary targets are monitored and interim plans are devised where necessary to enable compliance and achievement.

We have in excess of 5000 staff working over 50 sites, providing a diverse range of services.
