Full Job Description

As our new Community Housing Partner, you'll be accountable and responsible for delivering a holistic service to our tenants bringing together the delivery of an excellent restorative housing service and support including contractual tenure neutral support (through the Housing Support Grant) to tenants and residents living within the borough.

You will deliver an excellent service, based on tenants needs, mutual values (which is trauma informed) and restorative. You will develop fantastic, meaningful, and sustainable relationships with our tenants and residents, finding out what they want to achieve and helping them to meet their goals and aspirations. You will be able to respond to issues as they arise and work pro-actively to resolve problems before they escalate, with a focus on trauma informed practices not enforcement, and tenancy sustainment not eviction.

You'll thrive at delivering an excellent service naturally embedding our Mutual values within your approach. You'll have excellent Housing related experience accompanied with outstanding knowledge of the Renting Homes Wales Act. You're highly skilled at delivering restorative and trauma informed practices. You're passionate about making a difference and exceeds all expectations at every opportunity given. You're a natural communicator who enjoys building meaningful relationships with members of our community and partnership agencies. You'll be a self-starter and are self-reliant with the ability to have challenging conversations to achieve a desired outcome.

Please note that due to the nature of this role, an enhanced DBS will be required. A full, clean driving licence will also be required due to travel required around the Merthyr borough., Disability Confident
