Full Job Description

We are looking for a Community Investment Lead to deliver and develop services that help customers live, happy, healthy, safe and connected lives in cohesive communities. By providing day to day implementation of CHP's Community Investment Strategy and activities across the areas where we operate and with the people who live in our homes., Provide customers the best opportunity to enhance their lives and reach their full potential through well designed initiatives, collaborating closely with other agencies. This could include, for example, enabling people to develop digital, employability, language, numeracy and financial skills and providing volunteering, entrepreneurship and wellbeing opportunities and advice.

  • Design and deliver community investment initiatives, working closely with internal colleagues and external partners to meet the needs of our customers and their communities. This includes outreach, training, employment and resident engagement initiatives.
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day management of Parkside Community Hub and help to develop the activities offered there. This includes the supervision and development of the apprentice and a dotted line of supervision to the community engagement and investment coordinator.
  • Keep accurate records of all community investment activities and their take up.
  • Research and propose new project ideas and assist in the development of delivery plans within the team.

    Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
  • Interest of community investment and development.
  • Experience of working with the community or voluntary sector, with the skills to motivate the community to get involved.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
