Full Job Description

Work within a specialist clinical team providing a service to adults who have a learning disability, mental health and/or Autism and who present with behavioural challenges.

Provide support via assessment, behavioural interventions, risk assessments, relapse plans, positive behavioural plans and monitoring of service users needs.

We are looking for a keen team player who has a good understanding in the transforming care agenda.

The candidate should have knowledge around person centred care and positive behavioural plans, which incorporate low arousal approaches and promotes least restrictive practice; an understanding of Autism and how it can impact upon delivery of care as well as experience within a community setting.

The successful candidate will have experience working with Learning Disabilities amongst people with a complexity of needs and challenges.

The applicant should be able to work flexibly and with minimal supervision with the ability to cope with changing situations to routine.

The post holder will require a flexible approach to assist when and where required between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and occasionally to 8pm.
