Full Job Description

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about teaching and able to support learners to achieve their individual learning goals, to join our Community Learning team across Somerset, to include subject areas such as:

  • ESOL
  • Health & Wellbeing
  • Nutrition
  • Arts and Crafts
  • British Sign Language (BSL)
  • Digital Skills
  • Our Community Learning provision includes a wide range of non-accredited short courses and workshops, working closely with organisations across Somerset, to meet the varying needs of adults within the local communities. Community learning aims to provide people with opportunities to achieve their learning and career aspirations, or to develop stronger communities. The role requires you to develop and deliver a range of courses and workshops, either face to face or online, to meet the needs and interests of learners and the community in Somerset. To ensure and provide a highly effective differentiated learning experience to support learners to achieve their learning goals and progress to further learning opportunities. The role requires that you may be asked to travel to various locations in Somerset.
