We are looking for a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our innovative Community Mental Health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessments and deliver psychosocial, evidence-based interventions to individuals with mental health challenges, helping them on their journey to recovery. A collaborative and strengths-based approach is at the heart of everything we do, and we are seeking someone who shares this ethos.

Main duties of the job

You will provide a high-quality, comprehensive mental health service for individuals with severe and enduring mental health challenges within the Community Mental Health Service. This role involves managing a defined caseload, focusing on individuals with complex needs and difficulties, while offering support to their significant others.

Additionally, you will play an active role in organising, running, and monitoring clinics, ensuring effective service delivery and patient care.

You will work within clear professional boundaries and receive regular supervisory support to promote ongoing skill development and competence. They will also play a key role in the clinical leadership of the team, providing supervision to colleagues as agreed with the Team Manager. Additionally, the role involves active participation in team development, service evaluation, and improvement efforts.

Collaboration with a wide range of partners is essential to this position.

A full driving license, access to a personal vehicle, and appropriate business insurance are required for this role.
