Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a range of therapeutic interventions and other aspects of the service user's care plan under the guidance of the multi-disciplinary team inclusive of occupational therapists, psychiatric nurses, therapists, psychologists and consultant psychiatrists.

This is a varied role and applicants will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, person-centred approaches to care and utmost respect and compassion for the people we serve. You will work as part of a large team of multi skilled, experienced colleagues who will be able to support to deliver safe and effective care. Opportunity's for training and development are encouraged and offered within the team.

Please note, a full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes are essential for this role as the team covers a wide geographical area.

Birkenhead Community Mental Health Team are looking for a Clinical Support worker to join our busy team. Based on Wirral we cover a wide geographical are supporting people to live as independently as possible in their communities. Woking alongside member of the multidisciplinary team you will proved holistic, person centred care for people with severe and enduring mental illnesses. We work with adults aged 18 and over and support those with both functional and organic illnesses.

The Cheshire and Wirral Community Well-being Alliance are working together to transform community mental health services, providing holistic, person-centred care for people with mental health needs and to support people to live a full and meaningful life. We facilitate access to a combination of support, to provide the best chance to improve well-being and quality of life in the longer term. We will strive to prevent mental health crisis and ensure that anyone in need has access to the right care at the right time in their own community.
