  • Provide high quality women centred care within allocated resources at Hubs and community settings.
  • Promote safe and effective practice
  • Enhance women and families experience
  • Contribute to the delivery of the operational efficiency of the service and deliver against organisational objectives
  • The post holder will provide total midwifery care for both high and low risk mothers within all midwifery environments
  • Able to provide the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of maternity care
  • Be accountable for own actions
  • Promote excellent multidisciplinary communication and teamwork
  • The post holder will generally have a home base at The Hub but at times of escalation may be required to undertake cross-site working to meet the needs of the women across the service.
  • To participate in hospital on-calls (currently minimum 4 per year)

    Band 6 Midwife- Full or Part Time
  • We are looking for experienced and passionate band 6 midwives to join our community teams. You will work a mixture of weekdays and weekends, each week, providing continuity to the women in your caseload for antenatal and postnatal care. Happy to talk flexible working. You must be able to work 4x on call per year for the acute site which are picked and planned by yourself.
