Community Midwives, Band 5 & 6

Band 5 We have a dedicated team of community recruitment and retention midwives to support, guide and develop newly qualified and experienced band 5 midwives in our service. We offer a dedicated preceptorship pathway in community which includes specially designed clinical templates, supernumerary time, teaching and assessments . This ensure you are able consolidate the theory and practice acquired during midwifery training in order to maintain a high standard of midwifery care, at all times with the support of the multi-disciplinary team around you. You will be facilitated to acquire additional competencies in order to achieve a band 6 role in community. Band 6 You are empowered to develop as a band 6 in the direction that you wish and will be supported with your own personal and professional development needs, enabling further progression. We have a management team dedicated to ensure that you will fulfil your potential and enhance your midwifery skills and offer opportunities
