Community Nurse

The Community Nurse is responsible for providing essential healthcare services to individuals and families within a specific community. This role involves promoting health, preventing disease, and caring for those in need. Responsibilities

• Health Promotion and Education:
+ Conduct health education programs and workshops on various topics, such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention. + Promote healthy lifestyles and encourage regular health check-ups. + Provide information on available health resources and services.
• Disease Prevention:
+ Implement disease prevention programs and initiatives. + Conduct screenings and early detection activities for common diseases. + Educate the community about vaccination and immunization programs.
• Home Health Care:
+ Provide home health care services to patients who require ongoing medical attention. + Assess patients' needs and develop care plans. + Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. + Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes.
• Community Outreach:
+ Establish relationships with community partners and organizations. + Participate in community events and activities. + Advocate for the health needs of the community.
• Emergency Response:
+ Assist in emergency response efforts, such as disaster relief and public health emergencies.


• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in community health or public health preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for improving the health and well-being of the community
