Full Job Description

To be flexible with delivery of a 7 day service working 09:00am -17:00pm. On a day to day basis this will involve delivering nursing interventions to our local community in a clinic setting working with our wider community services, The post holder will deliver patient care on a daily basis. You will be expert in all areas of nursing care, facilitating triage, patient assessment, planning and delivering clinical intervention. You will also be required to up skill and support more junior members of staff.
As nurse in charge of a caseload of patients you will have overall responsibility for day-to-day management of your clinical area and for ensuring all care is delivered according to Trust policies and procedures, maintaining associated records.
You will manage, support and lead a team in the delivery of evidence based patient centered care, which is of a high standard.
You will assist the senior sister / matron as well as other clinicians in the management of staff including appraisal, rota's, recruitment and selection and the supervision of learners.
You will provide advice and support to patients, relatives and members of the multi-disciplinary team. Utilising clinical audit, data collection, research, supervision of practice and teaching, they will monitor and improve standards of care by efficient and effective use of resources. Lead the unit through the achieving excellence program and be a pivotal role model within their specialty upholding the trusts values and behaviors at all times
