Community Perinatal Nursery Nurse

The Nursery Nurse role involves visiting mothers and/or birthing individuals to support the physical and emotional needs of them, their babies and the entire family.

The role will involve working closely with the multi-disciplinary team in meeting the needs of children and their families by undertaking delegated duties that support and enable family-centred care. The nursery nurses will be part of the multi-disciplinary team which includes appropriate communication with other professionals involved in the care of the child and parent. The job role will be community based in mothers' homes or at other premises such as children's centres across Surrey., Provide perinatal support to antenatal and post-natal mothers in the community, promoting and modelling a high standard of care at all times within the birth to five framework.
