Community Phlebotomist

Weare seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals to providephlebotomy care and support our nursing teams as part of our City CommunityTeam The post-holder will be responsible for performing domiciliaryvenepuncture and supporting the nursing team, as required, to the entitledpatient population. Thepost-holder will need good written and verbal communication, the ability to useIT, be flexible and adaptable, and have a proactive can-do attitude. Applicantsmust be comfortable working in a friendly but busy environment, all clinicaltraining will be provided, and all phlebotomy staff are supported to completethe Care Certificate within their first 6 weeks of practice (if not alreadyobtained)., Essential

• Venepuncture competency certificate

• NVQ Level 3 in health care (or willingness to undertake).

• Access to a vehicle that can be used for business purposes and hold a full and valid driving licence.
