Full Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic and highly motivated Nurse who is ready for a challenge, the East Site Stoma / Colorectal Nursing team is seeking a highly self-motivated practitioner, with a desire to promote and develop clinical excellence in clinical practice.

The successful post holder will join an established Stoma / Colorectal Nursing team and provide nursing support to inpatient / outpatient areas.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to deliver patient care complementary to that offered by Doctors and other health care professionals within the field of Stoma / Colorectal Care as part of a multi disciplinary team.

The successful post holder will act as part of the colorectal care nursing team and support point both in-patient and out-patient services to ensure patients receive appropriate management / treatment, aide their pathway and contribute to decreased length of stay.

The post holder will work collaboratively as a member of the Stoma / Colorectal team to ensure both elective / emergency patient receive holistic assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of their care needs.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and / or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
