Full Job Description

Part Time - 20 Hours Per Week We are looking for a person who is passionate about providing an effective administration service for the Community Safety Team, who thrives in a challenging work environment and is comfortable using their own initiative. The Community Safety (Admin) Support Officer is a part time post supporting the Manager and team with the preparation of court documents, maintaining records, processing invoices, note taking and other administrative duties. The role requires a person who:

  • Can manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in terms of ASB case stages and customer interactions.
  • Retrieve system data and records from IT systems in preparation for court disclosure.
  • Assist in the preparation of witness statements to court standard.
  • Accurately produce letters and other documents in a range of formats, ensuring all records are accurately filed and managed.
  • Record all invoices and expenditure following authorisation from the Community Safety Manager
  • Attend any relevant meetings and provide administrative support as required, including diary management and note-taking.

    Excellent organisational skills and is committed to improving services.
  • Experience in utilising IT software packages such as Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel as well as housing management databases or similar.
  • Ability to use their own initiative, work under pressure and manage competing tasks.
  • Experience of effectively managing a demanding workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop effective relationships.
