Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team to implement the requirements of the Council's Enforcement Review.
Wardens act as ambassadors for the Council, delivering a high visible presence to promote a positive image of Calderdale.
Working with Police, Fire, and other partner organisations the teamwork in Calderdale's Town Centres, residential communities as well as parks and open spaces, proactively assisting in the reduction of crime and anti-social behaviour. The wardens, through prevention, engagement, education, and enforcement action, are working to make Calderdale a safer place to live and visit.
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team who are passionate about serving the local community through a flexible approach and possess a strong team mentality. They will be committed to decreasing the fear of crime, have demonstrable communication and organisational skills, and be familiar with working in a customer focused role. In return, Calderdale will invest in your full ongoing training and accreditation to fulfil your duties.
Grade C or above in GCSE English (or equivalent) is essential and a full UK Driving licence is desirable.
