Full Job Description
You will work collaboratively alongside Operational Leads, Deputy / Heads of Nursing and other senior leaders within the Community Health Services directorate. You will participate with multi-agency partners to create development opportunities to meet the changing needs of the population. You will be supported to transition into the role by the existing Matron for the hub and the wider matron team. A development plan will be created with you to enable your progression and professional development, and to prepare you for future permanent opportunities. It is an essential requirement that you have a car for work use and have a UK driving licence., As per the Matron's Handbook there are 10 fundamental aspects of the job role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated senior nurse to undertake a secondment into the Community Service Matron post in Charnwood Hub. We are looking for a forward thinking, creative individual with a can do attitude. You must be clinically competent and have proven operational and clinical leadership skills, with a desire to ensure that the workforce you lead delivers the highest standards of care to all patients. You will have up to date knowledge of the current national and local agendas and a comprehensive understanding of the clinical priorities for the service. You will be required to work flexibly and be adaptable to accommodate a challenging and changing environment.
