As well as direct patient care and treatment planning for patients with complex needs you will work with a wide variety of patient types which may include working with Multi-Disciplinary Teams in acute trusts., + The opportunity to work in varied settings in the High Peak and Dales and across the beautiful county of Derbyshire, including Hospitals, Health Centres and patient's homes. Our current Vacancy is based in the High Peak and Dales locality in Derbyshire..
+ The opportunity to provide a quality, good value service to a wide variety of patient types and develop close working relationships with our recently established Interdisciplinary Non-Diabetic Wound care clinic, the Multi-Disciplinary Diabetes team in the local acute trust, our Podiatric Surgery team, other DCHS services and local NHS Trusts.
+ An annual appraisal and personal development plan. DCHS pledges to engage, involve and support staff to reach their full potential.
+ Supportive Mentorship and Preceptorship.
+ CPD arranged by the Podiatry Service in addition to the essential learning required by the trust.
+ To become part of our Team. To have involvement in team meetings and the opportunity to make valuable contributions to the team meetings, staff forums and via Staff Surveys and Pulse Checks.
+ The opportunity to influence and help make changes in the service, to use innovative technology and to make a difference., + To assess, diagnose, develop and implement individualised care packages in order to maximize ulcer prevention for patients with a wide variety of clinical needs, including acute or chronic neuropathies, chronic disease, vascular problems and wound management.
+ The post holder will also be expected to plan and manage their own caseload, which will include providing specialist care to patients with diabetes, rheumatological and biomechanics.
+ As part of the Podiatry Team and Wider Trust, contribute to the development and adhere to the Podiatry Department and Trust policies, strategies and objectives.

The post will require flexibility and ability to work across sites and teams according to service needs and therefore transport will be essential.
